Abstract:
Although the belief in the absence of Imam Zaman (a.s) is considered one of the definite and unquestionable beliefs of the Imami religion; However, the problem of why the occultation and its analysis with the help of wisdom, narrations and historical data of the life of the infallible imams (AS) have been raised in the tradition of Imamiyyah for a long time and sometimes, it has faced different challenges and attitudes. It seems that most of the debates about the reason for occultation have been formed in the shadow of the narrations of the innocents (pbuh), and since in the narrations, we are faced with two types of narrations; A group that mentioned the causes of backsliding and another group that considered it as one of the divine secrets; Some people, relying on the traditions of the head, believe that human beings, with their incomplete knowledge and understanding, have no way to reach the reason for the occultation; Therefore, any effort in this direction has been considered fruitless, distasteful and reprehensible. In this article, after the conceptualization of the head, I have quoted each of these five traditions of the head, and examined the evidence and implications of each of them. And finally, we invalidated the above-mentioned idea and pressed on the possibility of finding the reason for the absence.
