The participants were asked to complete the SES (by Rosenberg), the SVS (by Afrooz) and the PPS (by Afrooz and Asadi) questionnaires. Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. In the present study, all the ethical considerations were observed and the authors reported no conflict of interests. Results: The results showed a positive and significant correlation between spiritual vitality and feeling of self-worth (r=0.63 and P<0.011), and parents' popularity (r=0.52 and P>0.017) was positively and significantly correlated with feeling of self-worth. Regression analysis showed that spiritual vitality can explain 20% of the variance in the sense of self-worth; Spiritual vitality and parents' popularity together could explain 28% of the variance of self-worth; and the popularity of parents independently of spiritual vitality was able to explain 7% of this variance.
